"For those having Bluetooth problems, one thing to keep in mind is that there are several 'varieties' of Bluetooth, and not all Bluetooth headsets support all the varieties. In particular, if you want to steam music (also podcasts and audiobooks) to your Bluetooth headset, it needs to support the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). Many popular Bluetooth headsets don't support A2DP. If yours doesn't, you may never be able to use it with any audio other than phone calls. I suspect (but don't know for certain) that Skype would also require a headset that supports A2DP." MacInTouch 10:07 AM
