"I also upgraded to the latest Xerox driver at work. We have a ColorQube printer. I can no longer print to it, as the jobs are rejected with an 'invalid account code.' There is no message at my Mac (running 10.6.8); I discovered the error by drilling down through the job status menus on the printer. Our IT department informed me that the same problem exists with the latest Windows drivers. It cost them many hours to recover, which they did by reverting the drivers (and the printer firmware.) I have been unable to recover from this problem and contacted Xerox technical support, who dropped my call after going through a maze of phone menus. They did not call me back. I would suggest others consider not 'upgrading' to the latest Xerox drivers at this time." MacInTouch 1:13 PM
"Often iTunes stops downloading the selected updates part way through, and I have to re-select the remaining ones and update again. What's causing iTunes to stop downloading is when one of the apps triggers a restricted material dialog. Clicking OK will download that app, but any remaining apps are not downloaded." "I recently purchased a Seagate 4TB Backup Plus (for Mac) hard drive, hoping to use it on both a new Macbook Pro/Retina (which supports USB 3) and a 4yo Mac Pro (which does not). The drive works fine on the MBP/R, but drops off the [Mac Pro] USB frequently, giving the dreaded 'Eject this disk properly..' warning, sometimes getting corrupted enough to require reformatting and making it useless on the Mac Pro.: This sounds like insufficient power on the USB bus, which is not surprising on an older computer. Try using the AC adapter." MacInTouch 1:12 PM
