  • "I have a feeling my issue is unique and probably due to some piece of software I installed. I use a MacBook Pro pre-unibody 15" and OSX 10.8.1. I cannot say for sure when this started. I use 'tap-tap' to start applications and activate it with three presses of the aka apple key. Recently, after two taps a large red target with three or four rings around a bullseye will speed across the screen to highlight the cursor. Can anyone identify the source of this mostly annoying behavior? (Only rarely does it seem potentially helpful!) Sometimes tap-tap does not appear immediately, but may delay 10-20 seconds since upgrading to 10.8.1." MacInTouch 10:15 AM

  • "Can iWork on the iPad really compare to a Mac? Apple's iPad is vastly different than a Mac running OS X, so how does its office productivity suite compare when used on both of these platforms?"  MacFixIt 9:38 PM
  • "Apple does a very poor job of letting people know when there is a change in the password requirements affecting users with existing passwords that do not meet the new requirements. Actually, it is more accurate to say that Apple does not let existing users know at all. The existing users are left to try to decide whether there is a problem of unknown nature with their login or whether Apple's serves is simply not working yet again." MacInTouch 10:16 AM
