AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition graphics driver, namely the 16.11.4 hotfix build, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems.

In terms of changes, the present update includes support for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI title, fixes Titanfall 2 graphical corruptions (when inside a titan) spotted on Radeon R9 Fury Series products, and resolves H.264 content playback issues on internet browsers with hardware acceleration.

However, bear in mind that the present update might still include small bugs that can cause corruptions, crashes, or other unpleasant errors.

With this in mind, if you intend to upgrade to this version, it is recommended that you remove any previous version already present on your computer, and then reboot the machine. This ensures any compatibility issues will be avoided.

If completed, make sure your computer is running a supported operating system and graphics card, save and run the downloadable executable, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Last but not least, do not interrupt the process in any way, as this can lead to various malfunctions. Also, once completed, it would be a good idea to reboot your system to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.11.4 Hotfix, apply it on your computer, make sure to perform a reboot upon completion, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
