Plex Cloud Can Now Upload Your Media to Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive

When Plex first launched its Plex Cloud, which allows you to stream all your media from a cloud storage account, it only supported Amazon Drive. Now, it’s getting a lot better, with support for Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

Plex Cloud gives you the flexibility to add media to your Plex server without having to store it all on your own machine and maintain a connection to the internet at all times. Now that it supports way more of the popular storage options we all use, it’s a lot more useful. Especially if you’ve already maximized all the free space you can get on those services. Plex Cloud is still in beta, so you’ll need to request an invite to use it, and the company says it’s still ironing out some issues with streaming from Amazon storage, but this is great news for anyone who wants to take their library everywhere.
