Update to Macphun's Luminar: Version 1.1.0 - Now Luminar Pluto

MacPhun have just announced an update to version 1.1.0 of their ecxcellent photo editing software, Luminar. The update also brings with it a small name change to Luminar Pluto.

There are several new features within the update:

  • Batch Processing
  • Golden Hour Filter
  • Dehaze Filter
  • Save Textures within presets

There are also several improvements with the update:

  • Color Temperature filter gains presets and an eye-dropper
  • Tab support for multiple windows (macOS 10.12 only)
  • Enhanced Tone filter for better Whites/Blacks adjustment
  • Enhanced crop with new aspect ratios, including those for Facebook
  • Added option to save or not save History within the native file
  • Added white background option for user interface
  • Faster image loading and processing speed
  • Overall performance improvements
  • Various bug fixes

The information with the update also makes it clear that users can expect another free update with more tools and features some time in the future.

The update was some 128 MB and the new version comes with updated plugins and a new icon.
