The deal is available now, but if you want in on it you better act fast because this is only a 4-day sale.

Thinking of making the switch to Sprint? The carrier is now running a limited-time promotion offering new customers unlimited data, talk, and text for $50 per month.

Add a second line and pay $90 per month for both. Sprint typically charges $60 for one line of unlimited and $100 for two lines. The deal is available now, but act fast because as this is only a four-day offer. Once you sign up, you'll lock in the discounted rate through March 31, 2018, at which point your bill will go up to $60 a month.

Sprint pointed out that with the discounted rate you'll be paying $5 less than you would on rival Verizon's new 5GB for $55 plan. In a blog post, Sprint's Chief Marketing Officer Roger Solé suggested that Verizon is "living in an alternative reality.

"I'm scratching my head after seeing Verizon's new ads claiming consumers don't need – or want – unlimited wireless plans," Solé wrote. "Welcome to 2017, Verizon. No one wants to watch a data meter and change their habits to meet your plan restrictions."

He also pointed out how quickly one can go through 5GB of data.

"I can eat up 5GB of data watching just seven episodes of any of my Netflix favorite, House of Cards," Solé wrote. "5GB would give me just about two hours a day per month to stream my favorite songs on Tidal. And YouTube? That could cost me close to 1.5GB in an hour. I would use up my 5GB allotment in just under three and a half hours."

Verizon, meanwhile, claims that "two out of three people use less than 5GB/mo." Keep in mind that despite all the heckling, Sprint also offers plans that provide data buckets. Solé said "most" current customers are on unlimited plans, though.

Verizon on Wednesday introduced a new international calling plan called Unlimited Together – World, which offers unlimited minutes to landline phones in more than 70 countries and mobile phones in almost 40 countries for $15 a month.
