The arrival of Windows 10 was welcomed with open arms after Windows 8 failed to ever fully bed down. It seems as though the company is now working on developing a new-look for the operating system.

The make-over, known as Project Neon, was spotted at Microsoft's Ignite conference in Australia. This slide indicated a phased approach to the new look.

It looks as though we can expect to see the first wave of the new updates to arrive around April of this year.

Leaked images point to the death of some classic Windows features, such as borders, title bar and the restore / maximise buttons.

This looks more like the Apple interface, rather than Windows. Only time will tell if users will like it.
