Dell EMC joins IDC’s CIO Summit 2017 to help businesses ensure digital readiness

Dell EMC today announced their participation as a Summit partner at the IDC CIO Summit 2017 Middle East, being held on the Royal Caribbean Cruise from March 6^th to 9th. Marking its 10^th edition, the summit is slated to bring together 100 of the region's most influential CIOs on board to help them evolve into true digital leaders capable of taking customer experience to unimaginable heights.

Themed ‘Enabling Dynamic Change for the Digital Era' the summit is designed to enable CIOs rethink the way they leverage information, harness emerging ICT solutions, and facilitate organization-wide innovation, with the ultimate aim of making their enterprises more agile, efficient, and productive than ever before. In line with this objective, Magnus Nilsson, CTO Commercial EMEA, Dell EMC, will present a session on March 7^th about digital transformation and making IT infrastructure more streamlined and agile to meet the increasingly tough demands of today’s customers.

Organizations are coming under immense pressure to deliver agile services that support the changing needs of their customers. According to a research by Dell Technologies, which surveyed 4,000 business leaders – from mid-size to large enterprises, across 16 countries and 12 industries including UAE and Saudi Arabia, 67% of business leaders agree customers want faster access to services, however, only 46% of businesses can meet this demand. In addition, the survey reveals that only 29% of businesses are capable of delivering a personalized experience to their customers, while 32% of business leaders state lack of the right technologies to work at the speed of business.

In light of these findings, Dell EMC’s participation as the Summit Partner is aimed at helping CIOs gather a clear understanding of digital transformation and enable businesses to explore varied ICT solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase competitiveness and ensure digital readiness.
