Not a lot of details have surfaced about Apple's plans for the first half of this year. We know what Cupertino is set to hold a few hardware launches. Sources expect an upgraded iPhone SE and new iPad models this year from Apple. What they'll carry isn't out yet. The few details that have surfaced suggest that the iPhone SE will receive a storage upgrade alongside minor specification overhauls. For the iPad, an all new screen size of 10.5 inches is expected. Today, we've got some very shaky details for the iPad Pro 2. Take a look below to find out more.

Source Claims That The iPad Pro 2 Will Feature An A10X Processor With Touch Bar

In the Apple world, there's an all new feature for everyone to talk about. Touch Bar. Apple replaced the function bar on the 2016 MacBook Pro with a thin OLED strip. This strip will customize itself in accordance to what app you're running on the notebook. It's a cool concept, one that Apple claims is designed to eliminate 'gorilla forearms' while using notebooks with touch screens. The rumor mill doesn't believe that Touch Bar will be limited to the MacBook Pro either.

Earlier, we saw a source claim that a similar feature will also make it on the iPhone 8. Dubbed 'feature bar', it'll switch icons that are relevant to device usage. Apple is rumored to remove the home button for this year's iPhone and the 'Bar' sounds like a nice replacement for it. It'll definitely make the jump to new ways of using the iPhone. Now, a Chinese site claims that the iPad Pad Pro 2 will also feature a Touch Bar.

Folks over at Anzhuo claim to be in the know how for the iPad Pro 2. According to them, the device will feature the A10X processor, which really isn't a surprise. Apple's tradition of the 'X' lineup of processors started from the iPad Air 2 and has continued since then. The big surprise is the addition of the Touch Bar to the tablet, given that relevant software based support is present. The tablet will also feature a dual camera and carry storage of 64, 128 and 256GB. RAM for the device will be 4/6GB and the Apple Pencil will feature a magnetic stripe as well.

Sounds a bit of a mouthful if you ask us. These details haven't surfaced anywhere else as of yet, so take them with the proverbial grain of salt. But, if Apple does add a Touch Bar like feature on the iPad Air 2, perhaps it'll be able to rekindle market interest in the device. The iPad isn't gaining any new market users and continues to be one of Cupertino's weakest products. Maybe dual cameras and Touch Bar will change that. Thoughts?
