Microsoft announced today that it is open up its preview support for Google Contacts and Calendar in Outlook 2016 for Mac to any interested parties. For the next few months, you can test Outlook 2016 with this Google support for free.
As you may recall, Microsoft had previously announced it was bringing this functionality to Outlook 2016 for Mac back in March. At that time, the preview was only available to those in the Office Insider program, in the Fast ring.

Today, however, Microsoft is broadening the availability quite a bit.
“We still need some additional feedback before making these updates broadly available,” the Outlook Team announced. “Today, we are announcing a worldwide preview of these features that will run until June 30, 2017. During this time, anyone can install the earliest Outlook for Mac Preview build and help us test the new Google Account experience. You will have access to the same experience as our Insider Fast community, without the requirement of being an existing Office 365 customer.”
To get Outlook 2016 for Mac Preview with Google support, just visit the Outlook website. Once the preview is over, you will need to subscribe to Office to continue using Outlook 2016, Microsoft notes.
