Apple Sends Out Media Invites to WWDC 2017

At the keynote, Apple is expected to debut new versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, its operating systems for iOS devices, Mac computers, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, respectively. Also expected is the debut of new hardware, such as updated iMacs, and possibly the much-rumored Siri speaker.

WWDC 2017 will take place from June 5 to June 9 in San Jose, California. Tickets for the event, which cost $1,599, were distributed via lottery in March. The company has also provided tickets to scholarship winners, which were awarded in April.

Around 5,000 developers are expected to attend the event, where they’ll interact with Apple engineers who will host app development seminars and answer questions. The sessions will also be available for viewing by those who are unable to attend on the WWDC 2017 website, as well as the WWDC app for iOS devices and the Apple TV.

Developers will also experience hands-on labs, get togethers, special events, and much more during the event. MacTrast will supply coverage of the WWDC 2017 keynote, as well as highlights of the rest of the conference.
