Download: Phoenix v3 iOS 9.3.5 Jailbreak Released

You can now download Phoenix v3 IPA for iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak to liberate 32-bit iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.

We told you a couple of days ago about the new Phoenix jailbreak, giving those who enjoy jailbreaking a great way of doing so with their 32-bit devices running iOS 9.3.5. Ever since that release, developer tihmstar has been hard at work iterating on that initial version, with Phoenix v2 arriving just a day later. Now, a further 24 hours on we have Phoenix v3, bringing with it even more fixes.

While jailbreaking is rarely a simple affair, even when it has progressed to a state unrecognizable when compared to how the practice started back in the days of the original iPhone, the semi-untethered nature of the jailbreak means that the jailbreak app will need to be re-run on every reboot in order to preserve the jailbreak. Furthermore, it will have to be re-signed and re-sideloaded using Cydia Impactor every seven days or so, depending on which type of certificate you used.

Of course, all this is a small price to pay if you need to be able to jailbreak an older device!

With Phoenix proving popular, the new Phoenix v3 release has now been announced by tihmstar, including a short changelog for what went into this latest release:

Phoenix v3 fixes custom offsets feature You can try to recover from changed systemversion with offsets phoenixpwn. com/A5 phoenixpwn. com/A6.

If that doesn’t mean a great deal to you then not to worry, all you need to know is that the developer behind this tweak continues to work hard at ensuring it is bug-free and capable of doing exactly what it says it can do – jailbreak iOS 9.3.5 running 32-bit devices. That’s enough for us to rest easy at night!
