Apple's new premium mobile model, the iPhone X has finally hit stores, though competition is quite fierce if you want to get your hands on one. Supply of the phone will be limited for the next few weeks, so if you want to grab one early, you might have to fight for it.

But if you're wavering over whether or not you should by the latest, shiniest iPhone, here are a few pros and cons to help your decision along.

3 Reasons You Should Get an iPhone X

That big, pretty display

The iPhone X boasts a gorgeous 5.8" AMOLED screen that out-performs any other iPhone model. If you want unparalled graphics on your mobile device, the iPhone X is the gadget for you.

Increased battery life

If you're on the go a lot, you might be interested to know that the iPhone X features 21 hours of battery life, while the iPhone 8 lags a bit behind at 14 hours.

You can take amazing photos

The iPhone X is unrivaled among other smart phones when it comes to taking snapshots. The phone's 12 mega-pixel twin cameras feature a new portrait mode that allows you to take high quality shots of people, and the new Face ID replaces Touch ID.

3 Reasons You Shouldn't Get an iPhone X

That notch, though

Of course, that cool camera comes with a bit of a price. There's a "notch", a rectangular bar that houses the camera that encroaches on that otherwise stellar display. The front of the phone is essentially all screen to begin with, but the notch may be a big turn off to some folks.

The phone comes at a premium price

The iPhone X comes at a very hefty price tag. The 64GB model will run you $999, while the 256GB version costs a whopping $1149. You'll have to seriously consider if the improvements made in the iPhone X are worth that kind of money.

It's not that much different from the iPhone 8 in terms of performance

While the iPhone X does offer some pretty cool features, the iPhone 8 is no slouch in any respect either, and it comes at a lower price point. They both feature the A11 bionic processor, meaning your going to get great speeds while gaming on either phone.
