Stuart lives in Kennesaw Georgia (north of Atlanta) with his wife Brittany, their two sons, and their pet wolf. He is a communing member of Midway Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Powder Springs Georgia. Stuart is a member of the research faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology specializing in Human Systems Integration. He is engaged in full time research at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where as a certified Human Factors professional he designs tactical displays, wearable soldier systems, and works with autonomous battlefield robotics. A side passion for Stuart is personal protection training, and he teaches courses on this topic in his spare time.

Stuart currently serves as the Board of Director’s Vice Chairman, and has been involved in Trail Life USA’s program since before its official launch. He is a Lifetime Charter member of Trail Life USA. Before joining the Board of Directors, Stuart served as the State Leadership Chairman for Georgia, and served as the coordinator for the Atlanta venue of the 2014 Trail Leader Training Conference. He pioneered an adult training model and oversaw its deployment as the chairman of the inaugural Equip64 training event at Camp Aiken. He led a diverse national team of volunteers to develop the Trail Life USA shooting sports program. A frequently requested national speaker, Stuart has extensive program and training experience spanning multiple volunteer organizations and has a passion for seeing Trail Life USA Troops produce godly and responsible fathers, husbands, and citizens. His favorite aspect of his Trail Life USA involvement has been meeting Trailmen across the country and witnessing first-hand the culture of discipleship and mentoring that God is fostering in Trail Life USA.
