Old Lumia handsets are on sale now in the Microsoft Store
Looks like Microsoft needed to clear up some space in the company warehouse. How else would you explain the sudden reappearance of Lumia handsets for sale at the Microsoft Store? The specific models on sale include the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 550 and Lumia 650. These are unlocked models and shipping is free. The highest spec'd unit is the Lumia 950 XL, which features a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution, and is powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset. The 20 MP rear camera features an aperture of f/1.9 and comes with OIS. This phone is available for $499.

At the opposite end of the totem pole is the Lumia 550. For only $139, you're getting a handset with a 4.7-inch display, carrying a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. The camera combo from back to front weighs in at 5MP and 2MP respectively. Be warned however, this device has the Snapdragon 210 SoC under the hood and is equipped with just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage.

The Lumia 950 will cost you $399, while the Lumia 650 is priced at $199. Obviously, time has passed these handsets by, and consumers passed by these handsets even when they were brand new. If you never got to experience the buttery smooth Windows 10 Mobile UI (which is one thing that Windows Phone always had going for it), here is an opportunity to pick up a Microsoft Lumia handset before Microsoft cleans out the warehouse completely and junks the remaining phones.
