Fortnite is coming to mobile, and sign-ups are live right now for the first iOS mobile event.

You can get your first glimpse of the game in action on an iPhone X in the mobile reveal trailer below:

That looks pretty awesome, honestly. It actually looks pretty much exactly like the game on consoles and PC.

If you look at a closer shot of the phone above you can see how the UI differs from the main game:

You can see the various action buttons on the right side of the screen above the right thumb. Meanwhile the gear icons are right in the middle of the screen along the bottom for easy access. It's going to be really interesting to see how easy it is to move and aim, things that touchscreen gaming makes quite a bit more difficult than mouse and keyboard or gamepads.

Depending on how that works, it could be tricky for mobile gamers to compete against their console and PC brethren. But that's neither here nor there. The fact is, pretty soon you'll be playing Fortnite on your iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and other mobile devices.

You can sign up for the iPhone pre-release events here.

Also, Fortnite accounts have been getting hacked a lot recently. Find out how to keep your private information safe here.
