Since Microsoft opened up registration for its Build 2018 developer conference in mid-February, it's only dropped hints here and there as to what to expect from it. There was a list of select featured sessions published, but the full session schedule has remained a mystery. This is no surprise, as the company typically releases this information in tiers.
Today though, Microsoft removed the Build 2017 schedule from its MyBuild website, and replaced it with a note that attendee tools will be coming the week of April 23, which is less than two weeks away.
Microsoft has confirmed to Neowin that the full schedule will indeed be published the week of April 23.
If you look at the current list of featured sessions, very few of them have anything to do with Windows. Many are related to Azure and cloud services. There is a session that involved the next stage of the Fluent Design System, which was introduced at last year's conference.
It's likely that we'll hear more about Windows-related sessions once we get the full schedule. Build is a conference that covers all of the big developer announcements, and that includes new features not just for the cloud, but for Microsoft's consumer offerings too.
