ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash products, announces that it has overclocked its dual-channel XPG SPECTRIX D41 RGB DDR4 memory module to 5000 MHz in an air-cooled configuration. This exciting development is a reaffirmation of ADATA's strong R&D capabilities and the outstanding performance offered by the XPG SPECTRIX D41 RGB.

"We are extremely thrilled to have reached this amazing milestone back in March, because it demonstrates once again the robust R&D capabilities of ADATA, and the passion that we have for advancing memory performance, for us, the next critical step will be working to make this more than just a technological milestone, but something that will be accessible to gamers, overclockers and others, so that they can ultimately benefit from this amazing performance."

The XPG SPECTRIX D41 RGB hit the 5000 MHz threshold in an air-cooled configuration featuring a Samsung B-die IC, MSI Z370I GAMING PRO CARBON AC and Intel Z370 chipset with support for Intel XMP 2.0.

The one key bit of information is the paragraph above which we took from the presser we were sent which explained it uses Samsung B-Die IC's. When looking for good overclocking memory generally you always should be looking for B-die memory since it usually hits the best mixture of timings and speeds.

In other news ADATA has launched the HV300 and HD330 external hard drives. with the HV300 at 10.3mm thick it is one of the thinnest large capacity external HDDs on the market while the HV330 is designed with a non slip silicon layer that should protect it from drops and bumps. Both drives come in capacities of 1, 2 4 and 5TBs feature HDDtoGO software and 256 bit AES encryption and use USB3.1

Pricing on the products are not available at this time but we will be updating with more information from ADATA when received.
