A gold iPhone X surfaces in FCC documentation

Apple appears to have designed a gold iPhone X according to documentation filed with the FCC and discovered by MacRumors this week.

The FCC documentation, filed in 2017, show off the phone from several angles. The images of the iPhone X show an iPhone with the same gold colour as the iPhone 7 and 8.

It seems like Apple was indeed planning to debut a gold, silver and space gray series of iPhones, but due to unknown issues, was forced to cancel the gold variant.

This image indeed shows us what might have been, and should Apple release a second iPhone X generation, a gold edition might be more feasible this time aro
