Ducati second only to Apple in product placement awards

1 of 2

Ducati has been voted second only to the all-conquering Apple technology company in a series of advertising awards about product placement in films in 2010.

Ducati placed second behind Apple as the most memorable product placement on 2010 for being involved in four major blockbusters; The Expendables, Takers, Wall Street 2 and Tron Legacy.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were among the top films when a Ducati Hypermotard 1100 was used in Knight and Day – although the awards did mention the use of an Aprilia RXV450 as a heavily-disguised stunt bike for the big jump scenes as a small error.

Branding website brandchannel tracks product placement and brand appearances in successful films at the US box office for the past 10 years. As a result, and with feedback from readers it lists a top 10.
