Apple’s Steve Jobs Immortalized as 12″ Action Figure

Three months after his death, Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs has been immortalized as a 12″ action figure. The figure, which appears to be fully articulated, will be available in February.

The Courier-Mail reports:

Toy companies in icons and Dragon in Dream unveiled the figure on New Year’s Day in tribute to the tech visionary who gave the world the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod.

The figure (don’t call it a doll!) features a realistic likeness and Jobs’s trademark black turtleneck, jeans and sandshoes. But while publicity photos feature a miniature Mac, iPhone and iPad, they sadly won’t be included.

The figure is scheduled for release in late February. It will retail for $99.99 (USD) plus shipping.

It is unknown if Apple or Job’s family might take action to block the use of Job’s likeness as happened in 2010 when MIC Gadget attempted to sell a Jobs action figure on eBay.

Dragon in Dream has released unauthorized figures in the past, including such famous people as U.S. President Barack Obama.
