Please A Hipster, Turn Your iPhone Into A Rotary Phone With This Dock

This is the closest you'll get to using a rotary phone

I used a rotary phone once at my grandma’s house back when I was like 6 years old. It’s the only childhood telephone memory I can recall, but most kids my age have never had the pleasure of seeing the dial slowly rotate back into position with each successive twirling of a number. The iRetroPhone is the closest thing to a rotary phone you’ll find today that also utilizes the best mobile phone in the world. Most people will either cringe or laugh when they see it, but we’re pretty sure hipsters across the globe are gonna love this thing.

The iRetroPhone is a dock for your iPhone that charges while also allowing users to make phone calls using a retro-style rotary pad. It’s not as good as the real deal, but freak this is 2012 people. There’s actually nothing about it that makes it exclusive to just the iPhone because it makes calls by plugging into the 3.5mm jack, so you can basically hook it up to anything, including your Android phone of iPad.

It cost $100, comes in black, white, or purple, has a speaker so you can use it for business conference calls, and even comes with a “radiation absorber” so your brain doesn’t get all discombobulated. Is it something you’d used everyday for a year? Doubtful. But it looks kinda cool and I’m sure my girlfriend would love an excuse to pry my iPhone out of my hands for a few hours while it’s docked in the comfort of the iRetroPhone.
