Monty Python stars Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam and Carol Cleveland hit Apple's Regent Street store in London to launch their Monty Python's Flying Circus Python Bytes app.

Featuring the 22 sketches from the first series of Monty Python's Flying Circus, the app features exclusive commentaries from the Pythons, a digital autograph feature and the ability to shuffle onto the next sketch with just the shake of your iPhone.

Digital Spy spent an anarchic 10 minutes with the Pythons prior to their 'Meet the Comedians' panel in London to get their thoughts on all things tech and their planned reunion on Absolutely Anything. Watch the video interview below:

"I'm always playing with it. I'm in an excited state about it... You have to get the app and shake it up. It's a genuine surprise," Palin said.

Gilliam joked: "None of my favourite [sketches] are on there. I'm waiting for series two and three. A lot of animation on those!

"If you get bored with the sketch you shake it and it's gone. You don't have to waste your life watching [Michael Palin in] Cheese Shop."

Discussing Jones's forthcoming animated project Absolutely Anything, which will see the Python cast reunite to voice aliens, Palin quipped that the movie may skip a cinema release completely.

"We're waiting. We're like coiled springs waiting to give our best... I think we'll go straight to app," he said.
