There have been plenty of rumors suggesting that Apple could be working on an iPad mini that could come in a 7” form factor. While that remains to be seen, according to a poll conducted by PriceGrabber, it seems that a whopping 52% of the people they asked said that they would be interested in an iPad mini that could cost anywhere between $249 and $300. Granted these polls aren’t exactly scientific but it is interesting to note that pretty much half of the poll takers expressed their interest in a smaller iPad.

There were many reasons behind their choice – some are just die-hard Apple fans, while others are claiming that the iPad brand name along with the cheaper price tag would make it an attractive purchase, along with the 7” form factor being a lot more portable than its current size. The poll also asked what was the most important aspect in the iPad mini and a staggering 84% said price. Those feelings were mirrored on a poll that CNET conducted themselves, revealing that out of a total of 4247 votes (at this time of posting), 59% said “Yes” to an iPad mini. So what do you guys think? Would an iPad mini be something you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on?
