The iPhone Bugle Horn And 7 Other Totally Awful iPhone Accessories (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

Is This Bugle Horn The Worst iPhone Accessory Ever Made?

While there are some awesome iPhone accessories that make our daily lives easier, some are just the worst, to borrow a saying from Tina Fey.

The most recent completely unnecessary iPhone accessory to hit the market is the iPhone bugle horn. The accessory attaches to the bottom of the iPhone and projects music through the bugle-horn-shaped plastic speaker.

As seen in the video above, the horn does little to pump up the volume, in comparison with the sound emitted from the iPhone's built-in speakers. Instead, the accessory, which comes in black or white, appears to be built more for aesthetic purposes than bass-blasting speaker quality.

The bugle horn is merely the latest in a long line of wacky accessory ideas ready-made for the newest version of the iPhone. Last month, we reviewed a "playa case" that can discreetly hide condoms. Another favorite for iPhone owners who need to crack a beer on the go: the iPhone bottle opener (alternately, you could just use an iPad charger).

Believe it or not, the bugle speaker is not even the first horn accessory for the iPhone -- remember the horn stand?
