Parker Planner Review

There are two key things that every organizational app could do with providing: speed and ease of use. Parker Planner offers both of these in abundance. In fact, for organizing my life from my iPhone, I think I've just found a new addition to my immensely useful folder of apps.

Loading the app takes hardly any time at all with everything immediately accessible from the outset. The Calendar, To Do List and Notes section is viewable at once making it a great way of checking in on what's going on during a given day without having to browse elsewhere. On the left, users can check their schedule for the day while also adding new appointments or arrangements. On the right, they can either add things to their To Do list or notes and ideas of their own.

Everything is quick to do and very accessible. It's possible to view the daily layout as well as the weekly and monthly plan, all from a tap of the screen. It's a similar case with the To Do and Notes section.

Further features come in the form of the ability to 'pin' notes to specific days for added convenience. Parker Planner imports any current calendar information already synced to the iPhone, so it works well at syncing with Google Calendar and Outlook. There might not be any way of backing up or syncing the tasks and notes but I suspect it's things like this that keep Parker Planner so fast loading.

Simplicity is the key behind what works so well for Parker Planner. Just load it up and enter what needs remembering. It doesn't quite hold up to business work standards and those in need of more syncing and sharing functionality. For those just needing to keep track of their day to day life, this is an ideal way of doing so without having to get to grips with too many complex features.
