We've been testing out the beta version of iOS 6 this week, so we decided to take the new and improved App Store for a spin.

To download an app, tap the "Free" or the price next to an app. Let's install the free version of Angry Birds.

Now apps download and install without closing the App Store. You're free to continue browsing while you wait for your app to download.

The Updates tab lets you know when one of your existing apps has a new version.

When your app is finished downloading, tap "Open" to launch it.
