Find Out If Your Favorite Apps Are Compatible with OS X Mountain Lion

Today's the day that Mountain Lion is hitting the digital shelves of the Mac App Store, but are you prepared? In our tests the operating system has been very stable and compatible with the apps we use every day, but there may be a few here and there that might have some trouble. Fortunately, the developers over at Roaring Apps have compiled a compatibility database.

While the search function isn't perfect, you can browse the compatibility table by letter and immediately see if something is or isn't compatible based on a little red, yellow, or green icon beside it. For more information, just click the app to learn more. This is important, because you may find the data about an important app you love isn't current with the final release of Mountain Lion. I've been using the final release for a little while now and have yet to find any app compatibility issues, so if my experience is any indication you shouldn't run into much trouble. That said, this table should help you determine if the upgrade is going to cause a serious issue with an important app or not.
