Apple Updates iOS iWork Apps for Mountain Lion/iCloud

Apple released updated Wednesday for the iOS versions of its iWork apps, including Pages 1.6.1, Numbers 1.6.1, and Keynote 1.6.1. The updates add support for iCloud syncing between your iOS devices and your Mac through iCloud on Mountain Lion, which was released earlier on Wednesday.

Pages:

  • Pages 1.6.1 works with iCloud to make documents automatically available between your iOS device and Pages on your Mac*. Changes made to a document on one device are instantly available on the other.

    *Requires Pages 4.2 or later installed on OS X Mountain Lion

Numbers:

  • Numbers 1.6.1 works with iCloud to make spreadsheets automatically available between your iOS device and Numbers on your Mac*. Changes made to a spreadsheet on one device are instantly available on the other.

    *Requires Numbers 2.2 or later installed on OS X Mountain Lion

Keynote:

  • Keynote 1.6.1 works with iCloud to make presentations automatically available between your iOS device and Keynote on your Mac*. Changes made to a presentation on one device are instantly available on the other.

    *Requires Keynote 5.2 or later installed on OS X Mountain Lion

The updates are free and available in the App Store now. All three are hybrid apps that work natively on both iPhone and iPad.

Mountain Lion is priced at US$19.99 and requires Lion or OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
