The TouchArcade Show – Bonus – Interview With David L. Hoyt

On this week’s bonus episode of the TouchArcade Show, Eli and I have a chat with David L. Hoyt. Hoyt is the man behind Jumble, one of the most popular print word games on the planet. He’s also designed tons of other print word games, as well as casino titles and board games. In other words, dude is kinda prolific.

On our show this week, we talk to Hoyt about the shrinking print space, as well as how the mobile revolution is informing his current work. We also talk about his new project, Word Winder, and how he’s approaching his tablet game.

Word Winder, by the way, is due out this October across iPad and Kindle Fire. If you’ve got a Nook Color, it’s already available on that platform’s storefront.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Hoyt was an awesome guest, as he explained how things are changing in the print space and the benefits of embracing mobile as both an author and designer.
