Here's An App That Gets Rid Of Shaky iPhone Photos In A Surprising Way

Apple has made it pretty easy to shoot a picture from your iPhone. You simply tap a button on the front of your screen and it shoots a picture. If that isn't easy enough, you can push the volume up button to snap a quick photo.

There's just one problem with either of those methods: They require you to move your fingers around, and that can lead to a shaky camera and blurry photos.

A new app called Vapp has a fix for that: You can just take a photo by making a distinctive sound.

You no longer have to touch your phone to take a picture. Simply whistle, clap, snap your fingers, make any sound, and the app will snap a picture.

Vapp also replaces another solution for hands-free photo-taking—the self-timer. But existing self-timer apps require you to set up the phone, hit a button, walk into position, and wait. (If you need it, Vapp has its own timer you can trigger with a sound.)

Best of all, you can adjust Vapp's sensitivity, so even if you're at a heavy-metal concert, you can still trigger the camera to snap a pic. To adjust sensitivity, simply slide the bar on the right side of the screen up and down.

The app is easy to use and when we tested Vapp it performed without any hitches. Vapp doesn't take away the camera's other features either. Users can still trigger different flash modes and switch between front and back cameras.

Try it out for yourself. Vapp is free in Apple's App Store.
