May the force be with the Angry Birds?
A new Angry Birds Tumblr page appeared just a little while ago with only one entry:
Welcome to the Angry Birds Tumblr page. Over the next few weeks we'll have behind-the-scenes content, animations, comics, and much, much more. But what will this all be about exactly?! Here's a clue… Times Square, New York, October 8th, 10am EST. HINT: Head to Toys R Us at 8am EST!So by the looks of it, we’ll get our first peek at what appears to be a Stars Wars themed Angry Birds on Monday. Whether it will tie in with Angry Birds: Space or be a stand-alone app remains to be seen. But the bird in the teaser photo looks to be from the space-themed game. Rovio is wasting no time branching out its franchises. The Angry Birds “sequel” Bad Piggies was released last week and quickly rocketed its way up the App Store charts to the No. 1 paid title. And we liked it so much here at AppAdvice that a little birdy told me it might be winning one of our awards soon.
