Apple plans to announce earnings for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2012 on October 25, 2012 at 2pm PDT (5pm EDT). The results will be followed by the typical conference call where Apple executives will delve deeper into the results and answer questions from analysts.
The agenda will undoubtedly touch upon Apple's recently launched iPhone 5, as well as the plethora of new products presented earlier this week: the 13" Retina MacBook Pro, updated iMac and Mac mini, fourth-generation iPad, and iPad mini. Although none of the new products are on the market yet, Apple's executive team will likely tell us more about why they chose to roll out these products now—especially in the case of the fourth-gen iPad, whose product refresh cycle has been shifted from the spring.
