Retailers can never quite keep their lids on. Rockstar is being hush-hush about the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5, even as mounting circumstantial evidence points to a spring release. Now, the UK retailer GAME has tweeted a picture that seems to confirm that time frame, as well as revealing some previously unseen assets.
Rockstar’s open world crime series remains one of the great powerhouses in video gaming, sure to ruffle feathers and move merchandise every time it rolls around. We haven’t seen it for a few years, unless you count the Western-themed Red Dead Redemption, and it’s looking like the whole world got a serious revamp in time for the next edition. I still have my reservations – I was disappointed by Grand Theft Auto 4, and it looks like 5 will have many of the same problems, but here’s waiting for spring.
