Help Me Keep My iPad And iPhone Charged Up All Day

This article is more than 10 years old.

Time for a quick question from today's mailbox:

I'm out and about with my iPhone and iPad all day, but I'm not near a power outlet that often. While the battery in the iPhone and iPad is quite good, I'd like to be able to top them up during the day.

Any ideas?

I'm just like you, and like to take any opportunity I can to charge my my devices when I'm away from my desk. After all, you never know how long it might be until you can charge up again.

One of the best devices I've come across for keeping my iPad and iPhone -- as well as my other portable devices -- charged up is the New Trent iCarrier portable battery pack.

One of the great features of the iCarrier is that it has two USB charging port, one with a 1A output which is suitable for the iPhone and other smartphones, and a 2A port that will charge up tablets such as the iPad. The 12,000 mAh inside the device can power both ports simultaneously.

You can pick up the New Trent iCarrier for $76.95 from retailers such as Amazon.com.

The great think about the iCarrier is that you can hook it up to your devices when they're in a bag or briefcase and have the charging when you're on the move.
