Sam Sung found in Apple Store SHOCKER

Amusingly named fruitchomp bloke. Genius

The business card of an Apple store employee in Vancouver has gone loco on the internet as the world delighted in the fact that he was called Sam Sung.

Toronto Web Developer Shaun O'Toole tweeted a photo of Sam Sung's Apple Store business card two days ago and it has been reposted all over the web.

Despite rumours that the excellently-named Apple retail employee might be a hoax, it turns out that Sam Sung is real and has worked at the West Georgia Street Apple store in Vancouver since September 2010.

A Linked-In page - now deleted - but available in cache confirms the existence of Mr Sung and his employment in Vancouver.

A Huffington Post Vancouver writer visited the Apple store in question and found Sam could say nothing about the internet fuss because of Apple's media policy, but did wish the reporter "a nice lunch!"

Interestingly, Vancouver is the first city in North America where Samsung has a real-world retail store. So if the publicity doesn't go down well with Sam's employers he could go somewhere that his name might be more welcome. ®
