I wouldn't call this an important piece of news but it's certainly a fun way to laze away a part of a Sunday afternoon. Over on YouTube we're treated to a list of all the TV ads that Apple has ever made. Well, that's the claim, at least. That this is a listing of all 485 TV commercials that Apple has ever made, in any and every market, all the way back to the Apple II.

One thing that I found amusing was quite how good the Newton looked in the commercials. What you were supposed to be able to do with it. Sadly, it was rather a product out of its time. Either we weren't ready for it or the basic accompanying technologies weren't quite there to make it successful.
There are other ads out there for Apple machines of course. For people other than Apple have made ads trying to get us to buy them. For example, this by High Technology Inc.
It's entirely true that none of this is very important. Buit I certainly found it an idle way of wasting a few minutes. Did we really all have hair like that back in the 80s?
