LG’s tricked-out entertainment systems of CES 2013

LG has officially debuted its 2013 lineup of home theater equipment which the company will be showcasing at CES 2013 in Las Vegas next month.

The lineup includes multiple products, including the BH9430PW 9.1-channel speaker system, NB4530A Sound Bar, BP730 Blu-ray player with Smart TV features, the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker and the NP6630 Portable Speaker.

Essentially, the BH9430PW is a surround sound speaker system that supports 9.1-channels  – four channels more than the typical 5.1 setup. The device is also equipped with a 3D surround processor to stream sound in multiple directions.

In addition, the system serves as a smart hub with NFC technology for wireless content mirroring, meaning, you can stream audio or video content to compatible smartphones and tablets. Alternatively, Private Sound Mode sends audio from the sound system via Wi-Fi directly to a smartphone.

Next up is the NB4530A sound bar which features a black and silver finish along with 2.1 channels of audio. The system boasts 310 W of power as well as a 3D Surround Processor. The sound bar – which measures 35 mm tall – is equipped with an integrated HDMI port and Audio Return Channel. The device also includes Bluetooth support for wireless audio streaming from smartphones and other devices.

Another of the more interesting products is the BP730: LG’s Blu-ray player with smart TV features, supporting streaming content and NFC technology. The device uses the LG Magic Remote and offers all sorts of functionality. LG also has a new dual Docking Speaker that supports docking and playback for Apple and Android devices at 80 W.

And last, but certainly not least, LG unveiled a wireless portable Speaker with 20 W of power that uses NFC technology and supports Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
