The International Consumer Electronics Show is in full swing, as several tech companies such as Intel, Sony and Samsung made their major announcements.

However, none of them seemed to impact stocks in a significant way on Tuesday. Fresh off unveiling new details on their line of lightweight Ultrabook computers, Intel is up just over 1% on the Nasdaq in morning trading.

Overseas, the stocks of electronic giants LG and Samsung were flat after trotting out their latest OLED TVs. Prepare to open your wallets, though, as some of the sets will for as much as $20,000.

Sony stock is down 2% ahead of its CES press conference, where it announced a new wave of Xperia smartphones and a 56-inch 4K OLED TV. No details were given on when the set would launch in stores.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm stock is up slightly after unveiling its Snapdragon 800 processors for "premium" mobile devices. The upgraded processors will appear in devices by the middle of this year.

Also, Nvidia is down 1.76% following the reveal of its Project Shield portable gaming device that streams PC titles and hosts Android mobile games.
