The Bad Elf GPS is designed to turn any iOS device into a GPS receiver. This could be ideal for an iPod touch or iPad with WiFi only. Also when used with an iPhone it increase GPS reception and accuracy. Two products are available, one is a stand-alone Bluetooth hub and second is a dock connector. The 30-pin model is available now and a Lightning version is under review by Apple.

The system will allow non-GPS devices to use any GPS application, whether turn-by-turn navigation, boating, aviation, or Geo Caching. Also they announced a partnership to include CoPilot Live.

Pricing is $150 for the Bluetooth and $100 for the dock version.
