LAS VEGAS—The tech world has some celebrities of its own – from Tim Cook and Steve Ballmer to Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. But with 1.9 million square feet of trade show floor here at CES, tech execs sometimes aren't a big enough draw, and companies dole out the cash for some celebrity firepower.

Now, sometimes designating these people as true "celebrities" is a bit questionable, but with a show as big as CES, you're sure to find at least one or two major luminaries. That usually kicks off with Sony's traditional Monday night press conference, which – in the past – has featured artists like Taylor Swift, Usher, and Kelly Clarkson. This year, however, we got a photo of Simon Cowell in custom headphones and clips from the music videos of Sony artists. Boo.

CES 2013 Bug

Instead, it was Qualcomm's opening keynote across town that had the celebrities on Monday night – from Desmond Tutu to Maroon 5. Unfortunately, the rest of that keynote turned out to be a strange and bizarre trip, but it made for some good Twitter chatter. Wednesday's Samsung keynote was a more high-brow affair, with former President Bill Clinton in attendance.

On the show floor, meanwhile, attendees rubbed elbows with the likes of Snooki, 50 Cent, will.i.am, Travis Barker, and LL Cool J, to name a few. Fruit-smashing enthusiast Gallagher was also roaming the halls … as a member of the press?

For more, check out the slideshow, and let us know in the comments if you spotted any other famous faces in the CES crowd.
