Following yesterday's update of iOS to iOS 6.1 there were a number of changes to the ways certain of the devices work. Apple has released an update to the Remote app for the iPhone and the iPad.

The information on the iTunes app page concerning the update tells us that Version 3.01. includes improvements for search results, rating songs, and general stability.

The icon with its near-triangle shape (like a rotor in a rotary engine) is unchanged. The download is shown as some 17.9 MB.
