SAN FRANCISCO, MACWORLD/iWORLD 2013 – Like any other trade show, there are a lot of weird and cool things to see at Macworld. Even though there aren’t as many booths here as there are at CES, but there’s tons to look at.
We wandered the corridors of Macworld this afternoon to find the most fun and freaky booths at Macworld. Here’s what we found.
Olloclip has a fun photo booth with props. There are several companies at Macworld doing the photo booth this year.
Daiya, a cheese company was passing out samples of their dairy free cheese. What this has to do with Macworld I have no idea, its strange and so was the cheese, but not in a bad way.
iPearl has a $20 inflatable shockproof pillow iPad case. Good for kids who are clumsy. Fill it up with a pump and it doubles as a pillow.
Strotter has a magnetic iPad bag for $169.00. Move it around outside or inside the bag and the magnets hold it in place.
iHangy has a lanyard that clips into an iPhone dock connecter for $25. This cardboard cut-out was the only booth babe I found on the floor.
The window wristlet by Lake 33 for $27.50 is a quilted case with a see-through plastic holder for an iPhone. Perfect for running errands and no more digging around for your phone.
JuceMobile has cups of delicious hard apple cider. Nothing like alcohol in the morning to help navigate the Macworld floor.
The New York Times has a pretty cool portrait printout using news words to form faces. There was a long wait for this one.
Grifiti makes the $25 Dootle case with a notebook for aspiring artists or students to take notes while using their iPad.
The Bowblade is the most outrageous case I have seen. The $185 case is compatable with 35 first shooter games. Get bigger biceps by extending the bow for straight shooting.
Tru Fit is a proud American green company. Their recycled plastic iPhone cases are made by artists in the USA for $39.95
Apotop makers of the bestselling Wi-Reader are giving away flashy purple bags. Everyone seemed to have one.
DriveSavers Data Recovery had some badly damaged Mac products on display. Fires and floods can do a lot of damage.
iLumina 3D has interchangeable art with cool 3D art that slides onto the back of an iPhone. for $39.99 you can select a new piece of 3D art every month for six months. Good idea for people who can’t make up their minds.
