Propellerhead announced on Thursday a new Rack Extension for Reason called Rotar. This is a rotary speaker model based on the classic Leslie 122 speaker. Rotary speakers are pretty darned awesome, and there aren't a lot of models out there. Apple has a rotary pedal model in Logic, and Amplitube for Mac has a rack-mount model, but now Reason users can stick a speaker model in their Reason Racks, too. It's priced at US$49/€39, and there's a free trial available. The video below offers a great tour.
