If you've been jonesing to get your hands on an updated version of iOS and a new phone, it's all but certain that you won't have to jones for too much longer. Apple is playing host to a press event at One Infinite Loop in Cupertino, and Ars Senior Products Specialist Andrew Cunningham will be reporting from Apple's Town Hall Auditorium, ready to liveblog his gadget-hungry fingers right off.

This is Apple's first major event since WWDC in June, and we're expecting at least an entire bushel of iPhone and iOS release news. We're also sure to hear information about the final release date for OS X 10.9 Mavericks, along with a few other odds and ends. For the full list of things that we're anticipating, check here.
