Office for Mac to get the same UI as the Windows version

2 days ago a leak revealed the next version of Outlook for Mac, today an internal presentation showcasing the other Office for Mac apps leaked online.

The slides were posted by PCBeta.com, the same site that posted the original Outlook for Mac screenshots. The slides appear somewhat dated as they contain references to SkyDrive (now OneDrive) and OneNote is already available on OSX, they are however an accurate representation of the current state of Office 16 for Mac.

First of all the slides confirm that Office 16 for Mac will be released in the first half of 2015 (therefore it will likely be named "Office for Mac 2015"). The slides then go on to reveal some of the new features: integrated Office 365, OneDrive and SharePoint functionality, an "enterprise ready Outlook" and an updated UI. The UI of Office for Mac will match the look and feel of their Windows counterparts, with full support for retina displays.

Going by the slides, the biggest changes to Office for Mac can be found in Outlook, it'll be getting new push mail support, weather options in the calendar and a lot of Outlook.com features like category sync and Propose New Time.
