Temperature Gauge for Mac provides a clear picture of what's happening inside your computer at all times through a readout of the temperature of various components. In addition to directly viewing these readouts, you can also set the software to alert you to a problem, so you can feel confident that your systems are working properly at all times.
Pros
Clear display: Temperature Gauge for Mac's interface features a column on the left that allows you to switch between views of all components at once or individual categories like Battery, Logic Board, Memory, CPU, and more. The temperatures themselves are shown on the right with a colored bar to illustrate whether or not they're within an acceptable range and how close they are to going over into a dangerous zone.

For instance, you can choose between temperatures in Fahrenheit and Celsius, and you can also decide how frequently temperature readings are updated.
