The stunning clock and weather app Living Earth has just made its way to the Apple Watch with a new update to version 3.60.

Easily my favorite feature is the new Glance that shows live clouds, a map, and weather conditions at your selected location. The new color-coded temperature and forecasts of favorite cities also looks great.

Notifications on the watch are even dynamic. A tropical cyclone will update with the latest satellite imagery. Users can also swipe between the different features and tap on a selected day or city to see current detailed weather conditions and the forecast.

Here’s an interactive preview of the Apple Watch app from our sister site WatchAware. If you’re interested, the site has a preview of the more than 4,600 watch apps available on the App Store.

A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Living Earth can be downloaded now on the App Store for $0.99. That’s a nice discount from the app’s usual $2.99 price tag.

Living Earth is one of my favorite ways to check the weather outside my door or thousands of miles away. The simple yet beautiful interface is right at home on the Apple Watch.
