GIFs for Mac Makes Sure You Always Have the Perfect Reaction GIF Handy

OS X: GIF is a simple, free app for the Mac that lets you search for the perfect GIF at the perfect time, get a link to paste it into a chat or email, or download it to your computer. If you communicate with GIFs (and honestly, who doesn’t at this point), it saves you the effort of Googling around for the perfect one.

GIFs pulls from a few different sources, but mostly Reddit’s most popular GIF repositories, like /r/ReactionGIFs and /r/GIFs, as well as Tumblr sources like Mr GIF and WhatShouldWeCallMe. If you have a favorite Reddit thread full of GIFs or a Tumblr you love, you can add it to the app too, just click the plus-sign above the search bar.

If you’re looking for something though, enter your keyword search into the bar at the top left and revel in the matching GIFs that expand before your eyes. If you like one, star it to come back to it later (by clicking the “starred” option in the sidebar,) or right-click it to copy the URL to your clipboard (or press CMD+C), copy its Markdown, open it in your browser, or even save the GIF locally to paste into emails. That’s all there is to it. It’s free, and available on the Mac App Store.
